FAITH VS FEAR
Hi everyone, hope you are well and February is been a great month for you so far! This week the words fear and faith kept popping up in my head and I felt led to encourage someone to step out in faith! I know this is a common phrase people say, but how about we actually act upon the phrase, live it out and not just say it.
Fear is one of the devil’s strategies to stop us from seeing and believing the promises and things God has for us. We all know the devil’s purpose is to “steal and kill and destroy” (John 10:10) but God promises and reminds us in this scripture that He has “come that they may have life, and have it to the full”
The devil wants to steal our faith, kill our vision and destroy the life in abundance God has planned for us. He knows once he does this we will start to drift away from God’s Word etc.

I saw this by Pastor Rick Warren:
“People who always say, “I can’t” and people who always say “I can” are both right. Why? Because fear creates self-fulfilling prophecies.
So let’s not limit our vision. It is only crazy until it happens. So, lets have CRAZY faith this year, so we don’t waste the talents and gifts God has given us to live a purposeful driven life. Whatever God has called you to do, you can certainly accomplish it with his strength.
But we all know without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). So, I don’t know about you, but I want to please God. So how can we strengthen our faith?
1. TRUST
This one is a bit obvious, but sometimes the hardest to execute. We must trust Him in all things. It’s commanded in Proverbs 3:5. If we have faith in God, then we completely trust that He will provide all that we need. Not only do we trust Him to provide provision, but we are completely confident that He will provide us with an abundant life as well!
2. PRAY
Daily prayer will invite God into our lives and help us establish a deeper trust. Our faith will grow stronger as we release the power of prayer in our lives. Dedicate some quality time with God and really tell Him all your needs and worries.
3. READ THE WORD
Read His promises, and then have great faith in God, that they will come to pass. Pray them over your life. In God’s Word we will find strength, hope, love, peace, and joy. We will also find promises of provision, and instructions to keep us away from sin and rebuke the devil. We will gain wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in our lives through His instructions.
I pray your faith is strengthened this year and God uses your faith that is as small as a mustard seed to do wonders in your life! AMEN
lots of love
Esther
